The annual Halibut derby ‘The Pot-of-Gold’ will commence on Wednesday January 27st, and will continue until March 21. The Top 25 fish off for the Grand Prize will be Saturday March 27th. It will run from 9am to 5pm and the ticket will be $50. More information will be coming soon!!!
Over $10,000 in prize value given away last year!!!
The top 25 catches of the tournament will be entered into the fish off. LOTS of Prizes will be given out-daily, weekly, and overall!!!
Ticket price is $50. $6 of this will immediately be taken and put into the Pots-of-Gold ($3 to the final prize pot, $2 to the weekly prize, and $1 to the runner up). The Largest fish of the tournament wins an annual free pass! The largest fish everyday wins a free pass(which will be the only kind of pass accepted throughout the tournament). Other goodies- sponsored by 544 Lures, Berth 55 Seafood Deli and Fishmarket, AA Worms, Dan Hernadez Sportfishing, Izorline, Proline Paint, Irvine Lake, and many more; will also be handed out to winners!!!
